This thread has gone very quiet!! are they all packed away for winter? come on get them vans on the back and get off for the weekend, we are going to try a week away over Christmas, make a change from the usual same every year one, don't know where to go yet, still looking for a nice site.

We've just had a few days away in our caravan at Waren Mill, Norhumberland, but used my L322 SC as the tug, although we use the Freelander too!!

Why not try Castleton in Derbyshire there is a Caravan Club site just outside Castleton (a short walk) also there is Chesterfield with its crooked spire, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Matlock etc.

Well work a visit.

Van is all drained down for this year , we used to winter caravan but minus 10 during the day wasn't good Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Just got back from 'Commons Wood' at Welwyn Garden City, had a couple of days in London. Van being put away for winter and will only come out of storage in March for new tyres, then in April off overseas again for 3 months Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia.

I will be taking the van out next month for a weekend in Rutland.
December is doubtful, Jan very good chance depending on the weather, February Moreton (I think)

Were away this weekend, going to conkers c&cc site next weekend and again for new years then start all over again in January

Probably up in Cumbria over Christmas but if not we will go somewhere for a week. Van lives at home and stays ready to use through winter.

Had Christmas at Conkers last year, fancy trying somewhere else this year.

Just as a matter of interest where do you park your caravans when not in use ? , only ask as there are none on the estate where I live . FL2 gone now in 2016 Discovery 4 Loire Blue .

Off to Kent on Thursday next for ten days, then to Exmoor House CC site in Dulverton on 1st December for another 10 days! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
