Sticky Key Fob

Hi, new member here, also new to the Freelander 2 although I have owned a County 90 for 20+years.

Both my key fobs are "reluctant" to eject although if inserted upside down they are both fine. I have tried cleaning them and had a look in the fob receptacle for debris etc.

I know this has been discussed already in previous posts but has anyone got any ideas what might be the problem.

They always will eject with a little encouragement but something not quite right.

So far love the car!

I've replaced mine with one from this ebay seller, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Replacement-5-b...236fc6bc96

Provided you are careful in opening your existing key, putting it back together is easy. For $30 aus bucks it was a good fix.

Thanks for the info. Got one on order, I will let you know how it goes. BY the way fitted front mud flaps from Paddocks today (Britparts). Mouldings are ok but the fixings are a bit tacky. Springclips and pk screws are ok for interior door panels etc but I would have liked something a bit more solid for mud flaps. Way of the world I suppose, anyway they are ok for the money.
