Anoying vibration

I have a vibration coming from the front speaker cover, not from the sound system but the cover itself, a press of the finger cures it.
I think that the PO may have broken the retaining clips or something,

so how do I remove the cover to check? I don't want to break any more clips, think the cure would be a bit of double sided tape, but need the cover off to check what's goi

Hi, did you find out how to remove the cover? I have the same rattle/vibration problem.

Yes, it simply clips in and takes a little bit of pressure to pop it out, in my case I just put a little bit of foam tape where one clip was missing......vibration noise now gone.

If you mean the speaker in the centre of the dash, carefully insert a screwdriver or preferably something non-damaging like a credit card, then lever it out. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Screws!

I've had this problem since Halfords hard-wired a Tom Tom for me.
Reading this post gave me the courage to take the fascia off (having bought some foam tape first). After removing the speaker cover I found three of the retaining screws hadn't been tightened. Job done - now to find why the passenger window rattles when shut. FL2 2010 (Facelift) TD4 XS
