Chattering and rattle

hi folks, new on here.

Damned if I can find this chatter and rattle. Sounds like N/s rear, constant when your driving and going over an fairly rough area I will get a chattering, rattling noise from the rear area. I have changed anti-roll bar bushes and rear drop links and still there.

N/s shocker looks a bit damp looking, could it be that? Or something else?

Any advice where to go next gratefully received.

I've just replaced the rear anti roll bar bushes with poly bushes along with the rear drop links on my 08 freelander2.....I'm now about to replace the rear control arm bushes and trailing arm bushes (both sides) in a bid to keep the rear end quite. It might be worth a look at the bushes first. If this doesn't work out my next move will be to look at the shocks...

Mines was rattling a couple of months ago. Found that it was the heat shield above the rear silencer.

Worth a check, hope this helps
