If you think the UK LR dealers are bad, take a holiday to the U.S. They are downright torturous. They believe everyone who drives an LR is a millionaire and can afford anything they throw at them. I've heard rumblings that JLR's international arm is worried about the US market as the brand expands (and potentially goes downmarket with the upcoming Defender) as the dealers are too snobby and rip-offish for mainstream tastes. Eh, that's every modern car, though. Fact of life with all of the electronics on board these days. Not sure about the UK, but in the US market Audi has been running an ad campaign for their A4 advertising the fact that the car's computer "makes 2,000 decisions per second." As my Dad, a lifelong VW/Audi guy said, "That's 2,000 things that can break every second." Indeed. CAR HISTORY 1997 Saab 900 SE 2.0 Turbo 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE 2.3 I6 |

Check the wiring to the Haldex first. It has been known for the wiring to chafe against the rear subframe, and loose comms |

Check wiring as stated. Also pump failure can damage the ecu or cause it give spurious error messages. I can supply an ECU, or complete haldex for a fraction of the cost, give me a call if you want some advice. www.bellengineering.co.uk
