Electric mirrors

Hi, my door Mirrors work ok, but the operation is a bit noisey and a bit jerky, is there any way or point in trying to get some lubrication into the mechanism ?
Thanks

ACF50, lubricates , Ok on electrics, and does not damage paint or plastics Thumbs Up spray it in as someone else operates the mirrors Thumbs Up I've done that twice in 5 years of ownership . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Just get hold of mirror and work backwards and forwards a few times. Dealer did that as I watched and it stopped jerking. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

That works for a short time but you need to re- lubricate, I use Copper Grease, for a longer lasting fix.

'Bent mine back ( like the picture) and sprayed some Halfords spray grease in there almost 2 years ago now, - still OK
