under door illumination ( wishful thinking }

Hi all, well at the cost of declaring myself an idiot I followed a link to a custom parts sponsor on here the other night and looked in awe at the gizmo's on offer and loved the under door lights that project a FL2 image onto the floor.

I thought the idea was great and managed to brainwash myself into believing that mine would be easily upgraded to house these lights after removing the old ones so I placed my order and couldn't wait for the postman to arrive with my latest purchase.
As usual Saturday is car wash and valet day for my beloved sport le and I was giving the under doors their usual grooming when I noticed to my horror blanking plugs where my under door lights should be, you know the ones I had sworn lit up my feet every time I opened my door and upon removing the said plug and poking my finger in the hole there wasn't any wires either, a hot sweat came over me and it dawned on me I WAS AN IDIOT I had not checked first.
I have e mailed the seller hoping to cancel the order but on the off chance they are dispatched can anyone tell me are the wires there further up the door card on a 2011 sport le or do I have to move them on ? thanks Alan. Embarassed

My first FL2 the drivers door lighting didn't work, thinking it was just a case of a blown bulb which it wasn't. I removed the lens and found no wiring to it, had a poke around....nothing, took the door card off and found the wiring tuck out the way. It hadn't fallen off it had been place behind some soundproofing in the door. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

just to say powerfuluk.com fully refunded my payment and cancelled my order promptly saving me the hassle of selling on the wrongly ordered under door lights. Thanks for the good service and if anyone hasn't heard of them they do some really cool accessories. Thumbs Up

Apart from custom made items and other things on hygienic grounds (earrings, underwear etc.) under distance selling regulations, almost everything ordered by phone/over the internet from a business can be returned as long as it's in its original packing etc. so you could have sent them back anyway. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
