My new (to me) Freelander


Hi all. Great to be part of the forums. Well I bent my defender 90 round a tree three weeks ago. I've been crying since pretty much every day. The insurance has come through though and I am now the proud owner of this 2013 hse. Absolutely loving it so far. Seeing some other great ones on here too. Exciting times.

Lovely. I went from a 110XS to a FL2 and don't regret it, it is so comfortable with 40+ mpg on a run.

I can still have the LR experience in the S2A though I wouldn't want to have to have it as my daily drive.

Sad times

I am now in a position where I have to sell this car. Had it for over 2 years with no issues, but change in jobs (and journey type) mean it's time to let it go. I'll be posting a for sale shortly. Gutted, but needs must.

They were a £185 option as I recall, irrespective of variant. The only one that came as standard was the LE.Sport.
