Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

We have slept in the Freelander about 5 times including once on recent 6 week holiday. The only things we had to put outside due to lack of space were 2 fold up chairs & awing poles. The rest we crammed in the front including esky & move the front seats forward & more upright. We also had a 20, 10 & three 5 litre water containers which would still fit in the car. We had left the roll up boot cover at home and removed the left rear seat base (60 second job), plus removed the 3 rear head rests.

We use a couple of Thermarests 35mm & 25mm (mine) thick (getting old & starting to need something thicker) and find it easier to lie with out heads at the back of the car.

A piece of closed cell foam to put between you & the intrusion of the suspension strut helps as it sucks heat out of you at night. Full size pillow is the go as well!

For extra ventilation we have some window socks but to date have not needed to use them either for heat or mosquitoes.

I have cut up some windscreen sun shades to fit the rest of the windows (have to recut the rear window & back side windows as the could be a tighter fit)
