Searched to see if anyone has discussed coolant changes. Drew a blank.

Hyundai says the coolant in most of its models should be replaced after the first 60,000 miles, then every 30,000 miles after that.

I'll copy and paste the rest of the paragraph you left off, purely for balance

10 years or 250,000 kms = 155,000 miles which ever come first for flush... since yours is 3.5 years old only top up if needed with original LR coolant (don't forget to mix with distilled water) |

Assuming I do the cam belt and water pump well before LR time it will also get coolant as well so another couple of years then. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Please keep in mind that all manufacturer maintenance recommendations are based on warranty lifespan and the period they have to reimburse dealer service, NOT on increasing the long-term longevity of the vehicle. IOW, they are based on a warranty period + one day point of view.

My mechanic sticks a devise in the coolant to check if it is ok. I had a car, Lancia Beta sedan 2.0L, for a few years decades ago that cost over 2 thousand including water pump and a couple of complex steel pipes between radiator & engine (which I got a mate to fabricated in aluminium for a case of beer, saving $600 which would otherwise have been added to the cost) plus a few other things to replace simply because the dealer did not change the coolant and everything corroded or rusted.
