Only had the FL2 for a month but today I misjudjed the garage door opening and grazed the pass side wing mirror
Only superficial scratches but can't remove all Any suggestions how to bring back as new
Have already decided to fold in the mirrors when entering garage

How about covers, you can get matt black, gloss black, chrome or body coloured.

Covers are up to 2009 only I think. Problem car is later model by the looks of it. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Well spotted, there are some for the later models at the same place in gloss black, chrome or body colour, must be other sellers as well.

NOTE - Land rover changed the design of the mirror on the Freelander in 2010 and the later mirrors have a much straighter front edge - see pictures - BUT some models still used the old mirrors so please check.

Bought a T cut scratch magic from Asda and made a perfect job of getting rid of the scratches, my car is Firenza red with black mirrors which I like but was tempted to buy new covers. Perhaps if I do it again (hope not)
