It's an injector cleaner, not the type of additive you use all the time (every six months / 6K seems to be the manufacturer's recommendation). So it's only going to have an effect if your injectors are sufficiently dirty that performance is affected. I guess one treatment to see if it makes any difference wouldn't hurt (although it may turn out to be money wasted).

Millers Ecoboost is probably the most popular everyday additive for diesels. It costs around £1.50 per tank to dose the tank so for the same money you could buy about another 10 or 12 miles worth of fuel. I've been using it in both the LR and Subaru together with Shell or BP diesel, ( these brands mainly because since I retired I use the nearest service stations to home rather than the office . ) .Does it give a 5 or 10% improvement , nope, does it give any improvement, hard to say because you can never really get a true like for like comparison. I've left it out of a couple of tanks and there was a lower MPG , but by around 1 -1.5 miles only . Strangely the lowest mpg I've ever had was on a tank of BP extra expensive hyper diesel , but as I said it's hard to establish a datum for real world like for like. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
