Rear Diff, Centre Bearing

As the title suggests, i am about to replace the rear diff and centre bearing by a specialist, not a main dealer,
the question is:
after they have been fitted, does the vehicle need to go back to a main dealer to be configured, or is it a straight forward replacement?
thank you

It's a purely mechanical job - no dealer intervention is required Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
