I have found that a product called 'NilGlass' works well. I bought mine from Makro, so not sure if it can be bought anywhere else.

This is what I use

Wurth Trade glass cleaner

Buy it at discount from the trade counter of my local double glazing place. Smells the same as Nilglass mentioned above but more effective and cheaper per litre.

Have tried lots of solutions (fnar fnar) to get smear free outside and inside. This has been the best I have found.

I have been told that the cause of this problem is the volatile plasticizers that are used in car fabrics. If this is true, you are never going to get rid of the problem, it will always come back. So frequent cleaning is the only answer. I think the evidence supports this suggestion. I use whatever window cleaning fluid my wife happens to have under the stairs, e.g. Windowlene; they all seem to work, but not to do a permanent job.

Yuup White vinegar and news paper, works every time.
MudBug, most of the big supermarkets sell their own brand of white vinegar.

I completely agree about the use of windowlene though.
