then they will have the cost of patrols/ guards, monitoring of cctv systems and that will be picked up by ourselves too

whilst the campers will be burrowing under, climbing over a wall and still been the scum they are

They should make the wall movable and push them back to where they came from, or at least one of the other counties they have passed through, but not the UK as we are full Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Still a lot cheaper than sorting out the problem if the French just let them leave to the UK.

How would propose to push a wall back to Libya, Somalia, Syria etc.?

The problem is the immigrants refused to register in the first country they entered. I can't see why it's a British problem just because the immigrants want to come to the UK! The EU countries opened their borders to let them get to Calais are all responsible; yet the French threaten to move the camp to UK soil Shocked

A wall will not protect anyone apart from the bar tab of the builders bosses who build it

Building walls is a waste of time and effort, they need to disperse the crowds, push them back in to other countries, instead of them all heading here. Just because your country of origin is at war, does not give them a free ticket to the UK and our housing and health systems, They are only heading here as we are too soft.

The trucks need armed defence contractors and grills (something out of Mad Max if you get my drift)

Close the boarder for trucks larger than a transit van, bring in bigger trucks by ferry from a dedicated different port other than Calais, One further away, with more of a military base security, were penalty for trespassers are more than a boot in the back side and back out to your makeshift tent Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

In France and probably other EU countries, you only get free health care and other benefits if you've paid into the system and you can't be legally resident unless you have health cover in place.

I've never understood why the UK has never imposed the same restrictions on foreigners.

Internal borders opened to EU citizens NOT the non EU. If the immigrant entered EU via Greek, ie. external border, going up to Calais, then surely it is the Greek responsibility to help him or the EU since they let it happenned. I can't see why this immigrant is the responsibility of the UK! This was implied by the French when they want to negate the UK-France border agreement and remove the camp to the UK soil.

Not sure what you mean! You mean both the French and the British want this camp?

The Greek border with Albania/Macedonia/Bulgaria has never been totally secure and yes, in theory, it is the Greeks responsibility but somehow I don't think these migrants always play by the rules.

No, neither want them.
