Closing strap for 2014 Metropolis tailgate ??

Hello.

Has anyone found a way of attaching a strap to aid closing of the tailgate to a 2014 Metropolis? If so where did you get the strap from?
Unfortunately it does not have a powered tailgate and health issues cause upper body weakness.
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Many thanks. Was wondering if a purpose built strap product available...but if all else fails can always use string or a step ladder Smile))

I used my belt folded over to make a loop. Bolted with expanding rubber grommet bolts. I did try and get a proper loop as fitted to wv combi and some other vehicles.
Worked well and not too unsightly. Wife was pregnant and she wanted to avoid stretching At work
