A click/pop

So I got myself an 08 fl2 GS td4 with 123.000, great car but...I get a click/pop from the front end, it a single click/pop sound, so I thought maybe the suspension was needing parts replaced.... fixed the suspect parts and still the same click/pop sound. Is this a drive-train/gearbox issue?? It almost always happens in either 1st/2nd/reverse from start and slowing down into 2nd gear while turning left or right at junctions/corners..

It's had x2 wishbones, x2 trackrod ends, x2 droplinks, anti rollbar bushes, x2 front wheel bearings, tracking plus a strut top mount (passengers side) all replaced......a lot of tyre screech on drivers front at low/medium speeds turning left or right, the click/pop feels/sounds like it's coming from around the suspension/gearbox/foot well area..

I was going to suggest the Front Sway Bar Stabilizer End Link, but it sounds like you've done a thorough work over of the suspension, so I would suspect engine mounts as the next suspect. 2008 3.2L I6 Auto

The engine mounts look good. The click/pop happened once these suspension components were replaced... My original post stated the noise was before repairs, sorry I got that mixed up with the passenger's side strutmount which prompted me to replace these parts.

Based on your latest post, a couple of suggestions to consider.

Now that other bits of the suspension are good and tight, it may have revealed a loose bushing or ball joint somewhere else.

A component wasn't installed correctly or didn't seat properly.

It's not common, but I have seen on other car forums, a ball joint being defective out of the box.

That's all I can think of. 2008 3.2L I6 Auto

Thanks for replying, I agree....a second look at all the parts fitted. Ball joint/strut mount bearing/bush could be suspects. I shall get to the bottom of this....I will update when progress is made.
