Hi, Don't know if anyone else has had this, but my offside rear door glass will only raise or lower in increments of
about 50mm and each time I have to work the switch to keep the glass moving (happens with both switches) the other three
doors work perfectly.

try battery disconnect?to reset body control ecu

Try to reset the window by closing it fully then keep the button up for another few seconds (10s?); repeat this with the opening ie. open window fully and keep the button down for another few seconds. If the window still has problem, you will need a new regulator. My driver side windows lost 1 shot open/close, LR suggested this reset but eventually they replaced the regulator on warranty.

I recently had to "re-calibrate" the window ECU on mine, I tried initially as Paxman says by fully closing and keeping the button up, (correct procedure for Disco3 by the way,) but it wouldn't work, so after a quick read on the manual (RTFI ) I found you have to fully close it on the button, then release and hold again for a couple of seconds

Worked for me but I've also found that disconnecting the battery for a "reset" can also cause the window ECU to lose its calibration so you have to do it again anyway.

When closing the window make sure you take your finger off the switch when closed. Then after 3 seconds pull switch back and hold for 10 seconds. Seems to be a lot of electrical and reprogramming issues with this car but many might not be the actual part! Just needs to be reset.

I originally tried resetting as per handbook and it didn't make any difference,
but after changing to a new battery plus doing a hard reset and then a re-calibrate, all windows are now
behaving themselves. so it was the hard reset
