Though you won't see it there is probably stiffness in the linkage or motor drive, this is enough with the drying of the screen to actuate the overcurrent device and shut them down, you need to disconect the linkage at the motor and check for free movement over the arc and run the motor and listen for a slow down at certain points of the linkage arm arc my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I found that unless you remove all the excess rainx by buffing really well with spmething like an old towel the blades would skip and stutter across the screen. As mentioned above, all the linkages and pivots dry out over time and need a good long lasting lubricant, especially the plastic washer that the wiper arm pivot fits through. WD40 is no good for this. I use a 'wet' chain lube containing Teflon that I have for our mountain bikes. |
