Same again if you should by any chance want the chimes back again 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

What I do to silence the seat belt chime is to put the seat belt behind the seat and clip it into the socket. I did this some weeks ago on an site seeing trip when I was driving slow. This allowed me to get into and out of the car without putting on the seat belt and no chime. |

When I drive on public roads I always use my seat belt. When the seat belt was behind the seat, I was not doing more than about 65KM/Hr and on gravel roads. No speed cops for miles. |

Better to do the 100% silencer thing - then there is never a problem 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

This was one of the first things I did on my D3, sadly it is not as simple as this on a lot of other cars eg VAG group ones. |

No, but i have seen a head crushed by an oil drum, does that count? i believe in the right to self determination so if i wish to take the risk of not wearing a seat belt on occasion i will do so. No accident was ever caused by the lack of seat belt being worn. |
