United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Stornoway Grey

Thanks for all the info guys!

It does have front and rear sensors so otherwise full XS spec. I'm already on the case to find matching seats for the rear. I've been in contact with a Freelander dealer who breaks them down and literally has all the parts I need to make it good again. I'm redoing the boot area at present, since it was completely shot, the rear quarter panels are all scratched up and someone *tried* to respray them badly so they are beyond saving.

Past master you are correct, the rear windows don't work so I need to look and see how to enable them again!

Seems this car is now a project for me to make it looking good again and give it the TLC it needs!

Being new to the forum you may not have discovered the SEARCH function yet. If you search COMMERCIAL or COMMERCIAL + WINDOWS you'll get access to the solutions previous owners have found. For a start try http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic12131.htm...al+windows Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Past Master - thanks for the info, I had already put 2 and 2 together and found out about the rear windows! Luckily I know someone who will do the landy software part for me! I'm also technically minded so sorting the Freelander won't be a problem as I'm good with electronics as well!

Finally to conclude this post - Can anyone help regarding the V5C log book update. Fuel Type currently says 'HEAVY OIL' is this correct? Also the Body Type says "LIGHT 4X4 UTILITY" would this still stay the same or change to ESTATE?
