Heko Wind Deflectors Creaking

Anyone else have the issue with the deflectors creaking?

Fitted nice and tight and metal clips all situated nice and firm, but the creak a bit, especially when i have wound the window down and put it back up i get a creak for about 30 seconds after as if the windows are still trying to push themselves home

I found that removing mine and giving them away helped no end!

The rubber seal at the top of the window is very sophisticated and exerts just the right amount of pressure on the glass to form a water and just proof seal, while stopping the glass from moving around. Bunging it all up with several mm of Perspex can't do any good to the prospect of giving the window enough room to work and will simply damage the sealing rubber if left in there for too long.

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White

Replace them with EGR ones (they make them for LR) They are a stick on type as per the "genuine" Land Rover units.

I've had them on my FL1 since 2004 and they are still on solid. Had them on FL2 since 2014 and still solid Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
