I have read loads of stuff about the loss of AM - my car is MY2009 HSE i6. It seems either I pay a dealer £350 plus vat plus fitting for a new head unit, which is clearly ridiculous, or lash out large amounts to get Talksport on DAB - also daft as I am perfectly happy with music on FM radio in my area. - I could buy a cheap AM radio and stick it on the seat !!

There surely MUST be a radio repair specialist somewhere who can fix this at a reasonable rate ?? Anybody know ??

By the way - the Alpine stereo is SUPERB - miles better than my 2015 BMW M4's Harman-Kardon !!

I had it fixed on my last FL2 only because it was still in warranty at the time did I use AM......never. would be better to piggy back dab to your unit which will be alot cheaper. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
