If what brand and type of wiper is also part of the question, I happened to try both Bosch and Trico flexi wipers to see which ones I preferred.

I went to Halfords and they have two brands of wipers, Halfords branded and Bosch, the former being slighty cheaper. They will also fit them for a fee. Fortunately for me they did not have the right ones in stock so I nipped down the road to the local main dealer who not only had the correct Land Rover wipers in stock they fitted them free while I had a (free) coffee - and the best bit - it was a couple of quid cheaper than Halfrauds.

Valeo seem to be identical to the original apart from a small logo. Mine were slightly smeary at first but are now fine. Some Land Rover oem blades have a special soft compound, which is why they wear out quicker. Not sure if that applies to Freelander though. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
