My iPhone decided to completely die all of a sudden today. Not a peep even holding the on/off button failed. I Googled it and found a tip that worked. Hold the on/off button and the home button simultaneously for 15-30 secs and you will get the Apple logo and after a few moments all is well again. Worth bearing in mind for anyone who isn't aware of that reset procedure. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

My iPhone 5 became really bad at dying with 40-50% battery when taking photos etc. Turned out it was one of a batch with a faulty battery. Had the battery replaced, now sorted! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

My Iphone 6 has never once played up, and is 18 months old. Its so reliable that I'm thinking of keeping it at upgrade time and just going SIM only. Yet, my work colleague has the same phone and its 15 months old and is plagued with problems, mainly battery. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
