Hi, is anyone using a communication system in their LR2?
if so how/where have you got the unit mounted and where have you
mounted the antenna? I need some ideas for installing my comms for response use,

I'm half way through the installation of three mobile radios: low band, VHF, and UHF. Two are Tait and one is a Motorola. I don't have navigation so I'll probably mount the heads somehow there.

I have the LR supplied unde-seat mounts in place for the radio bodies, next up are the antennas. I'm using MNO mounts through the roof. They need a 3/4" hole. I want to do this at the same time I do the Bluetooth retro fit.

The lowband antenna (80 MHz) might go on somewhere around the bonnet area so I don't loose too much clearance. 2008 Freelander 2 i6 Alaska White - current

1999 Discovery II Coniston Green - almost gone

Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.

and Mudslinger an impressive set up,
but I wouldn't have much room for my response gear,
I guess I'll have to spend some more on a remote head set and Radeco I think you've found the only
place it can be mounted.
