I'm going to get an used Freelander 2 next week. The car is going to be my daily driver and hunting vehicle.
So i need som advice to choose some good AT tyres.
There is a set of 16" Noname alu rims and a set of 17" Originale LR alu rims.

Just not sure what size tyre will be the best options. I like a tall tyre as poseble.

Mostly I'm looking at BFG AT KO2 and Goodyear Duratrac

My old car was a Defender 90" with 255/85R16 MT tyres. So road noise is not a concern.

Any advice for a make of an good AT tyre and what size would you go for?

I have the bfg at,s fitted and yes they are a bit noisy on the road but ace off road and they give the Freelander attitude

They look good one the freelander.

What size are they?

Pirelli Scorpion ATR. Very quiet for an ATR, good on road, very good on tracks, and perform well in snow. ATS are doing them at around £100 each online , with a£20 Amazon voucher if you buy two, or a free Kindle if you buy 4.
we've run them for 4 years and have just bought some more.

ps they have a very, very good, anti rim damage bead

Whoops just noticed where you are - you will not be buying at ATS ! But it still stands the Scorpion ATR is very good , you can get it in 16 or 17 fitments. The 17" rides very well. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
