United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Santorini Black

Hi, i'm new to the forum and freelander ownership, so forgive me if i'm putting this in the wrong place.

I'm wanting to use my ipad mini to stream music over bluetooth and use it as a sat nav running the tomtom app.

I've seen the following mount setup on a russian forum, thought it looked quite a tidy solution....

(apologies for the russian text)

Has anyone ever tried to run a cable from this switch plate location down to the floor (i'd then run the cable along the floor and into the 12v between the front seats), I wanted to know if it's possible to do this without removing the entire front panel... not wanting to be too invasive with this, don't trust myself to dismantle my latest purchase just yet Smile

Thanks for your help.

I really like this "russian" solution for mounting the tablet. Do you know if itīs possible to order the parts somewhere or if it is customised?

I think it's most likely customised, I've tried to search for it and not found anything of similar design. As an easier alternative I've thought about putting a magnet under the switch blanking plate then buying a charging dock either with a metal base, or adding a metal plate to the plastic base.

Maybe you could find a solution close to the one I found:
