terrain response always in slippery road/grass mode when...

Hi guys, just recently there was a storm with flooded roads where i live, while driving in the storm (inside the city) i decided to move the terrain response to slippery road/grass mode since that moment every time i start the car the terrain response goes to this mode even if i turned it off (normal mode) and restart the car it will again go to grass mode.
any ideas what can it be?

Does it stay in the grass mode even when left overnight?

Since 2 days i start the car and it is in grass mode and i switch it back to normal.
Thinking of disconnecting the battery.
