Recently picked up a 2011 Auto White Freelander 2, definitely an upgrade from the Japanese cars I came from!
Anyway, onto the new car. I'll let the pictures do the talking. So I didn't take any pictures of it stock, but here is how it looked!
While I had the work ute, I got the car up on stands in a friends shed and got the wheels powder coated in satin black.
Whilte the wheels were getting done, thought I'd give the front grille a few coats of gloss black as the original silver had some staining on it.
Black side vents too
Some whispbar roofracks which use the fixed mounting points (bonus!), mounted the roof pod and headed to the snow.
Installed some 6000k HIDs into the projector lamps. They were originally flickering so I had to get the mechanic to change the car configuration file with autologic. Matching canbus LED parker lights are on the way from the UK.
And thats pretty much it for now, few other mods on the way but I'm just slowly collecting all the fluid/part numbers for a diff/haldex/auto gearbox/ transfer case refresh. Last edited by Cliffy29 on 2nd Aug 2016 3:41 pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Also would anyone be able to tell me the part number or where I could look for the part number for this missing rubber grommet? I can hear a vibration from the engine bay when the car is sitting stationary in D.
