On your 08 model it is possible for the dealer to reconfigure the lights to "Scandinavian mode". This keeps the headlights and tail lights on whenever the ignition is on, to comply with legislation in Sweden and neighbouring countries. However this would switch on your headlights as well as the new drls!

MY13 to MY15 CCF there are numerous settings for lighting combinations, Police, Scandinavian, lights on with wipers, fog lights off whilst towing etc. I can't remember all the combinations off the top of my head. Wow graet idea...NOT! if i will have DRL's in front and i will turn the lights on then the DRL's will be off. I guess i can drill some holes in the dashboard to add some more manual switches |

DRL's can be enabled to remain on with headlights or sidelight mode.

Would that be at full brilliance Stuart, as turning sidelights on manually cuts the DRL brilliance on the 'round' ones (MY13). I have a small wishlist done for someone to change the CF's at some point. |

DRL's (round) high intensity are configurable either on or off, there is no low intensity, the signature strips are low intensity and stay on all the time. To my knowledge all the options in the CCF relate to the round DRL's but to be honest I've not really had a look through all the options or tried them. A previous post stated that many options including this one can be configured in CCF. A search will find it. I've just asked the dealer to do the same on my new DS. Waiting to see if they succeed. I am wonderingif it's standard on some cars, as a lot of RRs seem to be running on DRLs and tail lights. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
