How to make the rear lights on all the time (DRL)?

Hi
I am about to buy the OSRAM DRL's that replace the fog lamps but i would really want to have lights running in the back
I thought buying extra lights but then i thought why to bother with that, it should be much easier to have the rear lights
on all the time when the ignition is on.
Maybe someone done it already or have an idea how to wire the rear light to act as DRL's?

On your 08 model it is possible for the dealer to reconfigure the lights to "Scandinavian mode". This keeps the headlights and tail lights on whenever the ignition is on, to comply with legislation in Sweden and neighbouring countries. However this would switch on your headlights as well as the new drls!
Out of interest, does anyone know whether the "Scandinavian" configuration is possible on recent cars with drls fitted? Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Wow graet idea...NOT! if i will have DRL's in front and i will turn the lights on then the DRL's will be off.
I guess i can drill some holes in the dashboard to add some more manual switches Confused

DRL's can be enabled to remain on with headlights or sidelight mode.
Mind you I just realised you have an 08 and talking aftermarket, sorry I'm referring factory DRL's/settings. MY15

Would that be at full brilliance Stuart, as turning sidelights on manually cuts the DRL brilliance on the 'round' ones (MY13).
I have a small wishlist done for someone to change the CF's at some point.

DRL's (round) high intensity are configurable either on or off, there is no low intensity, the signature strips are low intensity and stay on all the time.
To my knowledge all the options in the CCF relate to the round DRL's but to be honest I've not really had a look through all the options or tried them. MY15

A previous post stated that many options including this one can be configured in CCF. A search will find it. I've just asked the dealer to do the same on my new DS. Waiting to see if they succeed. I am wonderingif it's standard on some cars, as a lot of RRs seem to be running on DRLs and tail lights. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
