United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Fuji White

I will have to go out and check now but I'm pretty sure that I can stop the engine manually with the stop/start button and the radio stays on. only when I remove the fob from the dock does the radio go off. I have a 2011, Eco stop/start.
If I turn off and remove the fob then the radio definitely goes off, and then I can press the power button and it will stay on for a further 10 mins.

If the engine stops on a stop/start cycle all of the electrics stay live including the headlights etc. Neil Hampson

Note that on really old LandRovers you have to wait for the valves (vacuum tubes) to warm up.

I remember them as well. A kid at my school had a "portable" wireless on the back of his bike powered by 4 dynamos. It sort of worked but was a nightmare to pedal. I used to have a pocket sized crystal set.
