Was lucky enough to get a half day voucher for the Dunkeld LR Experience for my birthday last month and am going next week. Choice on the day was a RR Sport or a Disco 4. Went for the Disco

While the D4 is a great drive both on and off road, the RRS beats it hands down

I have no views on it but I have always wanted a Disco so couldn't really say no to driving one. Was tempted to try my own FL2 as well but would have had to arrange extra insurance etc and knowing me I'd properly break something! FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

We had a half day invite to test anything, I choose the D4 as I was trying to convince the wife we needed a D3 at the time. It worked

Thanks for all the replies. It's a nice drive up there and I'm talking a friend so it'll be a good day out. I was disappointed when I found out it was only 1 car but I'm sure it'll still be excellent. Never really driven off road before so I will likely learn a lot. The last 3 vouchers I've never used, the one for the Disco is still valid but doubt I'll use it. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I would be happy to make use of any vouchers that might otherwise go to waste. I am trying to help my girlfriend build enough confidence to drive my Land Rover and we still have a bit to go yet. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

Was there today and as someone who has no experience of off road driving it was a brilliant day. Obviously I now want a D4 but what was good is the guy kept explaining how I would approach something in the FL2 or what setting to use etc which was very useful. Got a few things to try tomorrow
