I've seen some photos that some of you put on re the snow foam cleaning results. I'm wondering, is it sufficient to just use snow foam for a quick wash? It's a pain to fetch out all the gear and buckets etc. so I thought some snow foam would be useful for a quick once over. Although I guess it will dry poorly once rinsed so I'll still need the drying towel but that presents a risk of left over grit? |

One thing to remember is that don't be tempted to re foam a clean car and then go over it with a mitt. Most snow foam shampoo's do not contain any lubricants as a car shampoo does. Therefore it will cause damage to your paint work over time if done. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

just order some of that hydrophobic snow foam. thought it could be a good way of sealing the car for a week or two inbetween the washes

I use Auto Finesse Avalanche...always been really impressed by it - has to be premixed with warm water but it's a really good thick foam with a long dwell time. A lot of the time my 'cheat' wash is an application of foam and a jet wash off. Takes 10 mins and gets me to about 80% clean which is fine for a mid-week 'tidy up'
