Yes it was annoying. When I bought the car there wasn't a set of mat so I asked them to give me a set as good will, the manager refused but the saleman found an old set and gave it to me. They are only carpeted but better than without.

Hi I would like the rubber mats and boot liner if still available?

When I had company cars the they always came with new rubber mats. My transport manager claimed it was the single best investment in a car if you want to retain value. Since then I have always demanded a set of mats with any car I have bought. I usually leave it to the end of the negotiation and finish with "OK if you throw in some mats you have a deal". Works every time and only costs them about £20. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

My MY13 ex-demo came with "we'll throw in a set of rubber mats". Turned out to be the old-style ones. They are the same size and shape, but lack some of the holes for the hooks. I sold them and bought a new set. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
