Seat Belt Clip

Have had a search and can't find anything on this, so apologies if it has already been covered.

Yesterday One of my rear passenger seat belts wouldn't clip in to the bit at the seat (don't know what it is called). Instead of pushing down and it clicking, there was resistance and it wouldn't go any further. Only way to get it to clip in was to press the red release button while pushing the belt in. I can't see anything stuck inside.

Is it possible to replace these as obviously I don't want a wonky seatbelt. If so, is it quite straight forward?

Thanks.

P.s. One month out of extended warranty! FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

To be honest the cost of the part would be less hassle to me than trying to organise the car getting booked in at my nearest dealer which is many miles away and not commutable back by public transport. If it can be done at home Id prefer that route. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Have you checked that the kids haven't dropped something inside it? Many moons ago I found a piece of Lego stuffed inside one of mine. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Ive had a good look and can't see anything. The fact that the mechanism still retracts when the red button is pressed would suggest there isn't something physically stopping it.

Dan has quoted £62 which is more than I was expecting but not comfortable buying something cheaper or second hand as it is the only thing keeping my child in her seat. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
