Po380 code?

Hi over the last couple of mornings when leaving work after nights after starting car the tickover is a little iratic as if going to stall then picks up again . Only does it a couple of times then settles.
Did a quick diagnostic this afternoon and came up with code Po380 glow plug/heater circuit "A" malfunction.
Any ideas?
Thanks Graham Back in black !!

The glow plug system is used to assist in providing the heat required to begin combustion during cold engine temperatures. The glow plugs are heated before and during cranking, as well as initial engine operation. The engine control module (ECM) controls the glow plug ON times by monitoring coolant temperature and glow plug voltage. If the feedback voltage from the controller to the ECM is not within range, DTC P0380 will set.

The usual cause is a bad burned out glow plug as there used to cut down the cold engine emissions as well as starting the cold engine when ambient temperatures are below 5c.
I would start by testing the current draw for each glow plug and also check the engine coolant temperature sensor readings as a coolant temperature sensor could be faulty which has caused the glow plugs to burn out. Thumbs Up
