Having a bit of an issues with heater in 08 freelander hse. Blowing luke warm on drivers side but very cold on passenger side even though both dials on max temp. Anyone had anything like this and knows the problem. Thanks

Maybe complete rubbish but maybe its air-locked. Have you had any water loss or over heating ?

So for a cheap and cheerful no cost attempt to try and sort it out the old way to try and clear an air lock was remove rad cap and run until reaching normal temp, run several minutes more. Top up rad a required while doing this or in this case the expansion tank with coolant. If it is this you should get the odd gurgle as it clears locked in air. In bad cases sometimes I removed the heater hose to get the flow but that was rare. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Sounds like the air mix actuators are out of calibration which are part of the LIN from the HVAC.
Take it to the dealer to do a Service Proceeedure, there is 3, to calibrate. Takes about 5 minutes. MY15
