The latest MacBooks

For me, it is very much a case of I've gone Mac and won't go back. I purchased my MacBook Pro in 2011 and upgraded to SSD in 2014. It is working ok so my default position is if it ain't broke don't fix it. I am curious about the latest models though and have just been eyeing them up. What do you guys reckon? I have been quoted £306 for mine which is the following spec:

*Non retina 13" display
* 256GB SSD
* 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
* Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
* 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5

These are the one's I have searched for online (all SSD):

Personally, as you say, if it aint broke etc

I am a big apple fan.

I worked in IT for many years working mainly on PCs and frankly, to draw a reasonable analogy, imagine microsoft operating your car, every 100 miles or so, for no apparent reason it switches off, even if you are doing 90MPH in the fast lane, then when you try to start it a message comes up in the display "your engine cannot be run at this time due to the laughing shaft rotating around the giggle pin in location of the engine, please try later".

Not very impressive is it, PCs also suffer from the "Moronic Human Interface" or better known as Virus Creators.

Personally, quite why anyone would want to write a virus to infect everyones computer is way beyond my understanding, I mean, what is the point.

As for the new Apple range, they both look good, just make sure they are not sharing memory with the video card as this will slow them down a bit.

Yes they are expensive, but they do work, and work very well and reliably, just like Freelanders.  MY2014 SD4 XS
