Wet Boot

I have the Land Rover rubber boot liner in my 2014 Freelander. This morning there were pools of water on it. Lucky, as without it carpet soaked! We did have heavy overnight rain and it was parked with the front slightly higher on my drive. Has anyone else had this? I didn't get where I am today by being sensible!

High level break light is the culprit I think!

I'd concur with the high-level brake light diagnosis: had this on both my FL2s. Can be either leaking seal around the edge or a problem with the connection of the tube to the washer nozzle. 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

Get hold of it and give it a wiggle. The lamp. The lamp I said. Rolling with laughter

Silicon-ed mine in recently with acid free silicone on just one side of the now poor seal (at 3 years 3 months). Left a small area at bottom center as I felt it may help draining back onto outside skin of tailgate, could be proved wrong on that.

May be interesting getting it out again but I found it far too slack in the hole. Whistle FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Had mine changed twice under warranty in three years. if it seems loose then that's definitely the problem. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I used plumbers mate,it stays supple and you can roll it ito a long snake like seal, and easy to remove rear light when you have to.
