Depends if you want to get sacked for gross misconduct, loose your pension rights (assuming you're not a contractor) and then sued... I suggest you keep quiet about such things in the future

I know this from sort of personal experience...

When I was at college (early 90's, retaking A-levels, oh the pain!) I had a mate who worked for Rover as an apprentice who tried to sell "secret" pics to Autocar magazine - turns out the journo dobbed him in to one of the directors who was a personal friend cue end of apprenticeship for him and no career in the motor industry. My mate sells insurance now and is doing quite nicely for it too... he still reckons that it was his best career move to date!
