Front wheel bearing?

Can anyone describe the type of noise I might hear if a front wheel bearing is failing?
I am experiencing a low rumble that is loudest at 30 and 50mph.
On my first car, a 1953 Moggie Minor is was a definite wow, wow, wow. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

What tyres do you have fitted ? If they are Goodyears they are notoriously noisy when near their limits and can give similar sound. My wifes Fl2 had a similar problem with the noisy tyres/wheel bearing noise ,4 tyres and a bearing later it was sorted until another bearing noise appeared .

The droning noise was tyres after all.
My local Indy workshop had a drive and a look and was convinced it was tyre noise because of outside edge wear.
I then remembered that I seemed to notice it not long after having the rears replaced.
They swapped back to front and viceversa and noise has gone.
Now have Goodyear Wrangler AW on the rear and Pirelli Scorpian Verde on the front - no doubt once the Wranglers get down to 3mm I will have the usual rear noise again. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?
