Glove box won't latch

Hi All

I opened the glove box yesterday and subsequently found it wouldn't latch closed again. Rolling Eyes
I have yet to strip it down but does anybody know if the "latch" bit is replaceable, or will I need a new whole door assembly?

Thanks in advance.....

Mark

Sometimes the latch on our glove box stays closed and won't shut.
I fiddled with a screwdriver and the 'jaws' that grip the u shaped latch sprung back into place. I think this can happen when you try to close the glovebox but have some thing poking out of the sides preventing it shutting.
At another time I found that the u shape latch was not at the right angle which meant that the locking jaws would not engage. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

Funny you should say that but I had a poke around last night and the little latch on the door suddenly popped back in to place.
I then slammed the glove box and it was absolutely fine.
Quite relieved that it's sorted as driving around with the glove box open was a proper PITA.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Mr. Green
