Nice youtube video of FL2's in the snow

When looking at Dorko's clip I found this nice video of some FL2's out and about in the snow and showing some other 4x4's how not to get stuck...or drown!

FL2's in the snow Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

Good Find Thumbs Up

It looks like they are having fun in the snow, the second FL2 looks to be a Lago Grey one which does look nice

But i don't think i would have been stood at the from of a car been towed out using its winch, unless i liked the look of serious injury if the cable snapped Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Snow? What snow? OK, I noticed there were a few white spots here and there, but very little snow.
However, I noticed it was very icy and slippery. Those that ended up in the water, did they have summer tyres on? Good the Freelander was there to tow them up.

Anyway, the Freelanders ability off road in the snow, was quite impressing.
I noticed many of the drivers didn't have a clue how to drive on snow and ice.
The worst you can do, is to put the "peddle to the mettle" to spin the wheel. I guess they believe it gives more power, but it is the oposite. You loose traction, and you will only stand still, spinning.

Gently does it. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

I have allready seen that one, and that reminds me a little bit more of the snow I am used to.

I wondered why they all were stuck. Were they driving om summer tyres? I didn't look that difficult, but perhaps it was a very wet and heavy snow. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

Well OK not a great deal of snow for you, but certainly a great deal of ice, and definately more snow than we look like getting here this winter Laughing Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!
