Hi Dan, I've been checking round my "new to me" FL2 and realised the protection strips are missing from all 4 wheel arches and there's a bit of bubbly looking surface rust on the exposed metal.

I kinda guessed they might be a common enough problem, I know they are on the D3, on my last one they swelled up at the ends where the corrosion ate into the metal reinforcing. Quick and easy job to replace though |

If you can, get the strips with the rubber tube attached (don't know there name but much better design than the standard ones). Stops all the muck getting behind them. |
