Removing Hand Brake Handle

Hi All,

I've just replaced the leather boot on my gearstick, that was pretty easy, but I can't find any info on removing the hand brake handle so that I can replace the hand brake boot. Im betting someone has done that before Very Happy

Thanks 2007 FL2 TD4 SE Auto, Alaska White with Black Leather, Cooper A/T3 tyres.

Id say you remove the center console and leave the lever in place

Hi, the hand brake gaiter unclips around the bottom then slides of over the handle.

Be careful though the clips are very weak.

Many thanks for your help, Guys. Ain't it marvellous how easy things are when you get some good advice. Both gators now replaced and the car looks a lot better now.

Just replaced mine as well and new gators make a big difference. Should have done it sooner.
