2/5 people never test drive a car. Technically I did drive the car around the block but after my extensive research was going to buy it anyway. I purchased a brand new FL2. Vehicle was ordered in October 2013 and picked it up March 2014. The first time I ever drove a FL2 was my own car the day I left the dealership. I still have my first car ever which was a FL1 and I knew its predecessor would be good! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I was basically killing time and wandered into a dealer. Saw a 2011 SD4 for sale and took it for a test drive. After that, my (re)search began. I was thinking of a change for reasons of practicality ... couldn't get much in the back of my beloved Scirocco and even less in the wife's Mk1 3-door Rav. Counting down the days until it arrives. |

Took longer than expected to get it changed over from previous owner's private plates. Arrived yesterday. Loving every minute of it so far. |

I had a total of 9 company cars over 20 years and never test drove, or even sat, in any of them. Just ordered from brochures and a few weeks later someone would show up with the new one and take the old one away. It's different when you are spending someone else's money. The last one was an FL1 which got me into this LR cult. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |
