My iPhone 3G fully connects to the LR Bluetooth. Calls to the iPhone and are answered by the Steering Wheel controls. There is a menu on the FL2 to download the phonebook and access the phonebook from the Radio controls and make calls from the phonebook.

It's configurable by the FL2 menu's, but I havn't tested each configuration. I get the FL2 default. My iPhone has a segment from the Genesis "Firth of Fifth" track from the album "Selling England by the Pound" that I created as a ringtone..... (shows my age ...prog rock ... Yes/Jethro Tull/Genesis/Led Zep/King Crimson/Deep Purple/Supertramp/Wishbone Ash blah, blah ) Chris |

My new iPhone 3g does not work with the Audio Connectivity Module, which is a shame as that was the main reason I bought it Has anyone had the same problem, and overcome it? |

It connects via bluetooth OK for the PTI bit, it's the actual iPod kit that it doesn't work with for hooking up to the stereo and using the steering wheel buttons. |

I believe the connectivity module #LR002787 is the one with a cradle. If so, then you won't be able to use an iPhone or Touch with it. They just won't fit in the cradle.

Upon further investigation, the error message that led me to believe the iphone 3g wouldn't work with the kit was misleading; the car kit may not be "compatible", but the iPhone does actually play, respond to the steering wheel buttons and charge. Walter is right though, it is annoyingly very slightly too large (by 5.5mm) for the cradle. Should I spend a couple of hundred quid on an upgrade or should I "modify" the cradle with a chisel? |
