gallup is 'roundup' works on nearly everything, its a bit slow acting but kills the whole plant. On more stubborn weeds give them a kick/stiff brushing first to remove the wax from the leaves , letting the roundup into the leaf. At work

Some years ago when we lived in Zambia I decided to "weed" the dirt drive the easy way. So 5 gallons of petrol were liberally poured onto the drive and allowed to soak into the dirt. Applied a match resulting in a bloody great 'whoosh' much to the amusement of our houseboy who then said it wouldn't work. Well, he was right the grass came back with vengence.
So I'm a big fan of Roundup. Thumbs Up 11 GS Bali Blue

Tap up your local farmer for some Round Up, you can't beat it. If that's not possible, good old table salt out of the pot kills just about every weed. That's what I use for spot treatment on the lawns and where pets are around.

Cheap as chips and also good on them! Very Happy

Ive just ordered a weed burner. No idea if it’s any good but it looks fun. Only £20 off Amazon with 8 gas canisters. Mr. Green Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

You’ll soon find the weed burner is indispensable for all manner of jobs around the place, great piece of kit! ...pretty useless for killing weeds though! Smile 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

flame burners are good when they are dead, to cook a health live weed with a burner is a long process

I bought one and now kill the weeds off and then burn away, just don't do it bear footed Evil or Very Mad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

my neighbours have mares tale, that stuff comes up through weed membrain, the stones or slate on top and gets everywhere

and is a nightmare to control as it is so narrow and weed killers just fall off, i try to keep it in check and they don't bother so its always poke under the fence in the boards etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
