Parrot Handsfree fitting

Has anyone tried fitting a Parrot CK3100, or any Parrot kit for that matter, into their Freelander 2? The kit powers up separately, but I wire it in and it doesn't turn on. I'm using the SOT-082 patch lead and everything is wired up correctly as the radio and speakers work as they should when it's all connected up. Has anyone encountered similar or know of a fix??

Cheers

Make sure your getting correct voltage on the feed wires, some car manufactures don't use 12v feed's for the radio supply so another permanent 12v may be needed.

Power for mine was piggy backed off a fuse in the passenger footwell fuse box
I know there was an issue getting the right SOT lead as the hellfrauds books showed 1 type but it was a different one that actually worked.

Thanks RogB. I got a switched live by accessing a yellow wire that led to the front cigarette lighter. I accessed it via the back of the centre console and trailed it via the gearstick and up into the dash. I used an SOT-082, the only issue is, the stereo doesn't naturally have a switched live and so you need to cut a wire and patch one in. Bit of a pain to be honest but saved me around £100 in fitting.

Got my MKi9200 fitted at Halfords for £50. Seemed the easiest option!

Ours came with a CK3100 fitted. I've no idea how it is wired but I know it uses both switched and permanent live because it stays on after removing the key if you are in the middle of a call.
As it mutes the radio and uses the radio speakers I would think it uses the radio live feeds so that all the connections are in the same place. Mine, Saab convertible
